Sourcing

Tell us the car. We will go and find it.

The best examples rarely appear online. Give us the brief and we will work quietly through the networks we have built until the right one surfaces.

Three classic sports racers running nose to tail, in black and white

One

The brief

Specification, colour, mileage, history, budget and how you intend to use it. The tighter the brief, the better the car.

Two

The search

We work our own network, trade contacts, collections and auctions across the UK and Europe, including cars that are never advertised.

Three

Inspection

Nothing is put to you until we have seen it, checked the history and had our workshop cast an eye over it.

Four

Purchase & delivery

We negotiate, arrange transport, complete any preparation, and deliver the car to you ready to enjoy.

How we work

  • Cars found through private and trade networks, not just the listings
  • Independent history and provenance checks
  • Pre-purchase inspection by our own technicians
  • Negotiation handled on your behalf
  • Transport, registration and preparation arranged
  • Storage available from the day it is bought

Our fee is agreed at the outset, either as a flat figure or a percentage of the purchase price.

Why use a sourcing service?

Buying a special car on your own means hours on the listings, long drives to view cars that were never as described, and the worry of what you might have missed. Handing the search to people who live and breathe cars takes that away.

We know the questions to ask, the history to check and the faults to look for on the models we hunt. Just as important, we know when to walk away. You only hear about cars we would be happy to own ourselves. If we already have the right car, it will be in our current stock.

Sourcing questions

What kind of cars can you source?

Classic, modern classic and modern performance cars, from a first sports car to a long sought collector piece. If it is interesting and has a good history, we want to hear about it.

How much does car sourcing cost?

Our fee is agreed with you before we start, either as a flat figure or a percentage of the purchase price. There are no surprises at the end.

Where do you search for cars?

Across the UK and Europe, through our own contacts, trade networks, private collections and auctions. Many of the best cars change hands quietly and never reach the listings.

Will I see the car before I commit?

Nothing is put to you until we have seen it, checked its history and had it inspected. You get our honest view, good and bad, before any money changes hands.

Can you store the car once it is bought?

Yes. The car can come straight into our private storage from the day it is bought, kept ready for whenever you want it.

What if I want to sell a car to fund the purchase?

We can handle that too through our consignment service, so the sale and the search run side by side.

Give us your brief

The more detail the better: model, years, colour, mileage, budget and anything you would not compromise on.

How would you like us to reply?

No obligation, and we never pass your details on.
